IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Boston Chapter Tuesday, June 14, 2005 Traditionally, our June Meeting does not have a presenter. Instead, we hold our annual Robotics Roundtable, Steering Committee Meeting, and Social. WHO: All Chapter participants interested in joining us for dinner and/or planning the Robotics and Automation Chapter's next activities, but, especially, the Steering Committee and Officers. Are they making any money at it? - How is robotics related to machine vision and artificial intelligence? - Would you want a robot caring for you in your old age? - What is the future of robotics? These are a few of the questions that will be open for discussion over dinner at the Robotics Roundtable, an annual holiday-time tradition. This meeting will provide an informal setting for those interested in robotics to get acquainted. All are welcome, especially students; membership in the IEEE or the Robotics and Automation Society is not required. Feel free to bring significant others. We will also have a brief steering committee meeting sometime during the evening. All attendees are welcome to provide suggestions for future monthly lectures.
